“Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark, professionals built the Titanic.” … Unknown
Now that I’m getting well again I’m able to do all kinds of exciting things … things that previously I probably would have sloughed off as insignificant or “ordinary”. Last week I walked around the block … twice. To truly appreciate the magnitude of this exciting event you need to understand that I haven’t been able to do that for three years and couldn’t walk at all for a year. I guess it’s really all a matter of perspective.
So … apart from the “ordinary” things in life that I am reclaiming I’m also in the process of discovering all kinds of new ways to be me. These range all the way from figuring out what foods make my body hum (in a good way!) to co-creating my help-people-who-need-day-to-day-assistance business in a way that maximizes the energy that I have … without exhausting me. Capital “L” Life is contributing to the building of aforementioned “new life” by sending all kinds of awesome synchronicities, people and events my way.
Thank goodness Life is so interactive as I am definitely an amateur at a lot of the new gigs that I am taking on. I don’t have a degree in nutrition … but what I do have is a willingness to learn and a body that is very vocal about its needs. I don’t have a college course in advertising … but fortunately my good friend Life wrote most of the courses and willingly shares tips. Yes indeed, I am a novice at many things … but I have learned never to let that stop me. I have goals, I have dreams and I have vision. With Perky Polly’s enthusiasm to keep me buoyed up and positive and Life’s gracious support I know that learning new skills and building a new life is not only doable … but a certainty.
Godspeed and Joyful Journeying Everyone.
