Uncovering extraordinary me

Choose to be extraordinary. Normal is a cycle on the washing machine.” … Susanne

Why is everybody so interested in being Normal?  Why is everyone  judging their actions by what someone else does or tells them that they should do? … Uh-oh … there’s that “should” word again. It seems to me that Should and Normal could almost be interchangeable at this point … at least in meaning. Each of them points us away from our own Heart’s knowing and in the direction that someone else has decided is best for us. Each of them implies that if we don’t do the whatever-it-is that aforementioned someone-else has told us that we will be in some way “less than” … when in fact … it is the opposite that is true.

Throughout my long journey I had the awesome opportunity to be able to Observe. I didn’t have a lot of energy or ability to spend my time running around or “making busy” so I honed my Watching-Skills and did my best to learn about life … and Life … from that position. You know what I learned from all that watching and listening? I learned that … in general … people are pretty amazing … they have simply, either forgotten that fact or allowed it to be buried under layers of external opinions.

Perky Polly and Sunshine Sue … in conjunction with Life … have figured out that if we’re going to assist anyone else to realize how beautiful and extraordinary they are that we had better do our own inner work and become best friends with that beautiful part of ourselves first. So … we’ve called in the Celestial-Tidy-Up-Crew to assist us in decluttering our mental closets. We’ve pitched out bags and bags of “Shoulds”, “You-can’ts” and “You-Have-To’s”. Already we feel tons lighter and way happier. We’re not going to be a cycle on anyone’s washing machine anymore … instead we’ve decided to strive to be our previously unexplored, extraordinary self.

Godspeed and Joyful Journeying Everyone
