“Life is a gift. Be open to receiving. Explore every opportunity with wonder. Remember to say Thank You.” … Susanne
Having survived a near-death encounter with Cancer and a further battle with a nasty, antibiotic-resistant bacterium I can tell you with great certainty that “Life is a gift.” Every day that I wake up on the green side of the grass is a blessing as far as I’m concerned. Each morning … before my feet touch the floor … I get my sleepy mind involved in a conversation with Capital “L” Life that follows the format of: “What wonderful events have You got planned for today?”
Of course the question is semi-rhetorical. As the day unfolds the answer to aforementioned question usually becomes pretty obvious. Over these last few years I have learned that it is my job to keep my eyes and heart open and to be crystal clear re: my dreams … wishes … preferences … and intentions. It has also become apparent to me that Life is handling the execution of said wishes and dreams just fine and will let me know if any additional input is required from my end of things.
I follow every lead. I explore each opportunity that comes along. I am in awe of the amazing support that is present in my life. I think that life … and Life … are wonderful. Things don’t always turn out the way I expect. Some of the “opportunities” are roads that I choose to leave for someone else to travel … but all-in-all I’d have to say that they pretty much fit the bill … in fact … they’re usually better than my best dreams.
Perky Polly, Sunshine Sue and I are planning a big “Thank You” party for Life. We’re all so appreciative of the good things that keep rolling in that we figured that we’d hold a big celebration … after all … everyone loves a really good party … and I can’t think of a single person who doesn’t love being acknowledged … fussed over … and just downright appreciated. The invitations have gone out via Celestial mail … but realistically … everyone is invited … just bring your stories and your Gratitude and you’ll be more than welcome.
Arinaste Everyone (from my heart to your heart)
