“Open your Heart to Gratefulness and watch as Capital “L” Life rushes in to grace you with a life that is better than your best dreams. “ … Susanne
The way I think about gratitude is this: As a mom … if I gave my kids presents ~whether they were big ones or small ones ~and they never said “Thanks Mom.” … I wouldn’t be rushing out the door to purchase too many more gifts for the ungrateful little tykes. So … in my walk through life I do my best to share something positive and appreciative with both everyone I meet in the world and Capital “L” Life.
My Heart leads me to believe that every being likes to be appreciated. Judging by the shy smiles that are elicited by my genuine, positive comments my eyes and mind conclude the same thing. Now I’m don’t know for sure that Capital “L” Life also falls into the category of I-Like-to-be-Appreciated … but it has been my experience that the more prominent my Attitude-of-Gratitude is … the more readily my dreams seem to show up at my doorstep.
I really like co-creating with Life. It’s exciting keeping my eyes peeled for synchronicities and it’s awesome clearing out my inner landscape and feeling the fears, angers and worries of a lifetime melt away. I am truly grateful for the changes in my life and for living in such an interactive universe. Despite my extremely challenging journey through Medical-Crisis Land … or maybe because of the trip … I appreciate being alive … every day.
Each morning when I arise and greet the dawn I make sure to send a sunny “Good Morning” off to my awesome friend Life. Each day as Miss Perky, Ms Sunshine & I dance through the world I remember to send little Celestial Thank You Notes off into the ethers so that Life never feels taken for granted. Every evening … when my day is done … the girls and I are flaked out in the living-room … and I’m looking back at what got accomplished I give Life a big hug … a sleepy smile … and a yawning, loving reminder to “Keep up the good work”. And as I drift off to sleep I can feel Life happily making plans to deliver more of my aforementioned dreams the next day … life is good!
Godspeed and Joyful Journeying Everyone
