Choose your thoughts wisely

“Every action reflects your intentions ~whether conscious or subconscious. What do your actions say about you?” … Susanne

The amount of finger-pointing that goes on in the world never ceases to amaze me.  Most days I’m quite surprised that the majority of the world doesn’t have a permanent crick in their finger … and possibly their neck as well … after all it must be hard on the spine if you’re spending a big chunk of your time looking down at everybody else.

There’s no doubt about it … we’re all a product of our upbringing and environment … both current and past … and I have to admit that if it weren’t for my big trip through Medical-Crisis Land I might still be tripping over my opinions and judgments too.  Thankfully my four-year time-out from the world cleared my head and opened my Heart.

These days I’m way more interested in understanding why people do the things they do rather than in assigning fault.  I have learned the hard way that there is often lots more going on in their lives and behind their eyes then I know … and that simply because they’re not sharing doesn’t mean that they’re not suffering.

As Miss Perky and I skip along beside Capital “L” Life It reminds us … through Its kindness and presence … to listen … do our best to understand .. and to respond to others with a warm and caring Heart.  I’m holding a really strong intention to emulate Life’s awesome and loving example because I finally get it that words alone really aren’t enough …and as my actions are reflecting aforementioned thoughts … I choose them to be good ones.

Godspeed and Joyful Journeying Everyone
