“Breathe out fear. Breathe in the beauty of your Spirit and Heart. Shine your light. Have an awesome day.” … Susanne
These days it seems like everybody is on Red-Alert for fearful things to happen. The news media contributes to this paranoia with its unending offering of global disasters … massive oppression and war … and imminent financial disasters … with very little … if anything …in the way of positive or upbeat news. Now if you actually happen to live in one of the aforementioned war-torn lands or have the challenging fortune to be struggling in a region of the world where fanatics, fundamentalists and/or control freaks rule … then day-to-day fear is a really understandable thing!
Here in the Western Hemisphere though we’re pretty blessed. I remind myself of this daily … whenever the stress of my internal wanderings … wonderings … and desires threaten to override my common sense. When I wonder if my house will sell and if I’ll be able to find the “perfect” new one … I let in that approximately 300,000 people have no roof or home after the 7.7 magnitude earthquake that struck Pakistan this week past. Hm-m-m-m-m.
I think that it behooves us to put our woes and complaints into perspective. I believe that it is time for us to let the power of Life run our lives. It is time to stop listening to petty bureaucrats who are more interested in hearing themselves talk than in helping others … and it’s time to cease and desist thinking that anybody other than our own magnificent Spirits knows what is best for us.
I saw a great kids t-shirt recently. It said: “God don’t make no junk”. Miss Perky wants one because she and I believe that that’s true … and further … we believe that it’s time for other people to let that in! We’ve been through tough times during which Life gently reminded us to: “Breathe”. And when we were drowning in other people’s opinions … again … Life reminded us to: “Breathe”. Now that we’re on the flip side and spending a good chunk of our time smiling … It is patiently shining Its light on our Spirit and Heart until we can relearn how to do it for ourselves. Wow … Life … and life …are really good.
